How do I register for The Learning Escape cruise?

Registration is available only through the dedicated Registration Page on our website. Please do not register via email or phone. Early registration is encouraged due to limited cabin availability.

Why am I being redirected to Travelmation, LLC for booking?

The Learning Escape is founded and operated by travel advisors affiliated with Travelmation, LLC, a licensed travel agency. Travelmation handles all travel arrangements and event registrations for our CEU retreats and experiences. During the booking process, you may see Travelmation’s branding or platform—this is expected, as The Learning Escape is powered by Travelmation advisors. Rest assured, you’re working with trusted professionals who manage both the travel and the learning with care.

Why am I being redirected to a Travel Joy server for booking?

The Learning Escape uses Travel Joy, a secure client relationship management (CRM) platform, through our host agency Travelmation, LLC, to manage all travel bookings and event registrations. When you register, you’ll be redirected to a personalized Travel Joy group page where you can securely enter traveler information, confirm your travel arrangements, and complete payment.

This platform allows us to keep your trip organized, your information secure, and your overall experience smooth and stress-free from start to finish.

Can I book my own accommodations and still attend the conference?

At this time, all attendees must book through Travelmation as part of the official The Learning Escape group package. This policy helps us maintain a consistent experience for all participants, including access to group-only rates, exclusive perks, CE sessions, networking events, and hosted activities.Booking through Travelmation also allows us to manage logistics, communication, and continuing education compliance efficiently—ensuring your experience is seamless, supported, and aligned with ACE requirements.

What is included in my cruise package?

Your cruise package includes your stateroom, complimentary dining options (including continental breakfast available both in the main dining rooms and via room service), onboard entertainment (Broadway-style shows, ice shows, live music), pools and hot tubs, onboard activities like waterslides, rock climbing, FlowRider®, laser tag, bumper cars, mini golf, fitness center, Adventure Ocean kids and teen programs, and access to Labadee® private destination.

Can I request special accommodations or apply my loyalty program when booking through Travelmation?

Absolutely! We’re happy to accommodate accessibility needs, dietary requests, and other special considerations to ensure your experience is comfortable and inclusive. If you're a member of a cruise line or hotel loyalty program, we’ll gladly apply your membership number so you can take advantage of any eligible benefits.

Our group packages are designed to offer exceptional value, including exclusive amenities, flexible terms, and built-in event support. That said, if you have specific preferences for cabin category or occupancy, we’re more than happy to provide custom quotes to help you find the best fit.

Is travel insurance included in the cruise price?

Yes! Travel insurance is included in your initial cruise package price for your peace of mind and protection during your trip.

Are gratuities included in the cruise price?

Yes, crew gratuities are included in your cruise price. However, it is recommended—but optional—to provide additional gratuities for certain purchases such as beverages, spa treatments, and specialty dining.

Can I upgrade my cabin category?

Yes, you absolutely can upgrade your cabin! Instead of a balcony stateroom, you can choose to book a suite on Independence of the Seas, which gives you more space, a larger bathroom (some with tubs), and extra perks. Depending on the suite category, you may also get priority boarding and departure, concierge service, access to the exclusive Suite Lounge, and reserved seating at shows. It’s a fantastic way to elevate your cruise experience

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellation policies vary by booking date and cruise line terms. Please review your booking confirmation and contact us for specific details.

Continuing Education (CE) Event

What continuing education credits are offered for the current event?

For the current event, we offer BACB-approved CEUs for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and related professionals. Specific credits and hours will be detailed on the Registration Page and in your event materials.

Do you only plan continuing education events for behavior professionals?

No! While our current event focuses on behavior professionals CEUs, we are happy to work with other professions and organizations to plan continuing education events tailored to their specific certification and training needs.

Who will be providing the CE sessions?

Our CE sessions are led by experienced and credentialed BCBA professionals with expertise in behavior analysis.

How many BACB CE hours can I earn during the cruise?

Participants can earn up to 16 BACB CE hours by attending the full series of presentations scheduled onboard.

Is attendance at all CE sessions required to earn credit?

Yes. To receive BACB CE credits, participants must attend the CE sessions and actively participate as required.

Will the CE sessions be recorded for later viewing?

No, all CE sessions must be attended live onboard to meet BACB accreditation requirements.

Are there extra fees for earning CE credits?

No. CE credits are included in your registration fee for the cruise.

Can I join the cruise late or leave early and still earn CE credits?

No. Full attendance during the scheduled CE sessions is required to earn the credits.

How will I receive my CE certificate?

After the cruise, once attendance is verified, you will receive your BACB CE certificate electronically within 4-6 weeks.

Can non-BCBA guests attend the cruise with me?

Absolutely! Family and friends not seeking CE credits are welcome and will have full access to cruise amenities and activities. Extra fees will apply for additional stateroom charges (this includes adding guests to a 2-person cabin), gratuities, travel insurance, and any additional add-ons you decide on.

Is there a dress code for CE sessions?

Business casual attire is recommended for CE sessions.

What if I need special accommodations during the CE event?
